Sidewalks and finish cement work in parking area have been completed. Asphalt has been installed in small driveway. Interiors continue to be completed. Carpets and vinyl being installed in interior of building. Awning installation has started.
An All-City Band Ensemble provided music at an open house at the building July 8 during the China Town International District's Summer Fest.

Building siding has been completed and exterior painting has begun. Interior work continues. 90% of bath tubs have been set. Wall board installation is on-going.

Electrical and plumbing rough-in is continuing on upper floors. Inspections for interior walls will be scheduled starting the first week of April. Pre-rock will be starting this week and drywall installation can begin after inspections are signed off. Window installation is complete and building paper installation has started. Building siding has begun on south elevation with Hardi Panel installation.
The first level concrete has been sacked and patched to obtain a smooth finish texture on concrete at street level. Concrete will be painted towards project completion.

Top Floor and Crown

Wood framing has been completed and roofing installation will continue through March.
Electrical and plumbing rough-in is continuing on all floors. Once the building is dried in the electricians will start pulling wire. Scaffolding will be erected for window installation and building siding installation.

Framing & A Great View From The 4th Floor

Framing floor levels 3-6 will continue through February. Each floor will take approximately every 7-9 days to complete. Roof truss framing will continue from February and into March. All concrete pours will be finished in February. CMU interior walls at first floor have begun, while electrical and plumbing rough-in at retail level has begun and is continuing up through wood framing as floors are completed.

Exterior Walls Going Up

Second floor concrete was poured January 5, 2006. The prefab wall panels for the 2nd floor are scheduled to be delivered January 11, 2006. It will take approximately 7-10 days per floor for framing. Framing will continue into February. Electrical and plumbing rough-in at second floor slab are continuing and will proceed up the next 5 floors as wall panels for each floor are erected.

Concrete was poured for elevator and stair towers as well as exterior walls at street level. Second floor shoring went up after concrete walls were poured and electrical and plumbing rough-in at second floor slab begun. Second floor concrete slab pour planned for the first week of January 2006.

Foundation and Garage

October was a busy month for underground utility and foundation work. Plumbing and electrical work has been installed below garage slab. Garage concrete walls have been formed and poured.
In November, shoring for the first level concrete deck is being installed and will be poured this month.
Once the street level slab is poured, shoring will be erected for the first floor level. Wood wall framing will begin afterwards for levels 2-6.

With demolition complete the official groundbreaking ceremony is held. The construction begins.
